这篇只做一件事：把 DigitalOcean Basic Droplets 官网页面上写明的配置与价格逐档列出来，重点拆开 $4 / $6 / $12 三档的差异，并附上计费与退款原文。不评价好坏，只说明每档适合什么场景。

一、Basic Droplets 七档

几个事实：
- 没有 $8 档，$6 之后直接是 $12；
- $12 与 $6 的差别是内存 1 → 2 GiB、SSD 25 → 50 GiB、流量 1,000 → 2,000 GiB，vCPU 都是 1 核；
- 同样 $12 往上，价格翻倍换来的是「内存 + 核数」同时增加（$18 是 2 GiB / 2 vCPU）；
- Basic 是共享 CPU（Regular），页面另有 Premium Intel / Premium AMD 选项，这两类的价格与本表不同，本次未核。
二、计费规则
官网原文：
Effective January 1, 2026, we’re moving to per-second billing (with a minimum charge of 60 seconds or $0.01, whichever is higher) for Droplets.
Bundled Plan and v5 Droplets are both billed on a per-second basis, with a 60-second minimum. Bundled Plans have a monthly cap, so you’ll never pay more than the flat monthly price for that plan. v5 Droplets are billed on actual hours used each month and are not capped at 672 hours.
执行口径：
- 按秒计费，最低 60 秒或 $0.01（取较高者）；
- Bundled Plan（上表这类固定套餐）有每月封顶，最多付表上的月价；
- v5 Droplets 按实际小时计费，不封顶 672 小时——如果跑满整月，v5 的账单可能超过标称月价换算值。
这件事对「开一台用完就删」的场景有利：$4 档开 1 小时，按秒算只付几美分，而不是一整个月。
三、备份与附加费用
官网原文：
Percentage-based Backups, set at 20% (Weekly) or 30% (Daily) of Droplet cost. Usage-based plans start at $0.01/GiB per month and offer highly flexible frequencies (up to every 4 hours) and custom retention periods (3 days to 6 months).
也就是：
- 每周备份 = Droplet 费用的 20%，$4 档约 $0.80/月；
- 每日备份 = 30%，$4 档约 $1.20/月；
- 还有按用量计费的备份方案，$0.01/GiB 起。
快照（Snapshot）与备份是两套计费，本次未核快照单价。
四、退款与支付
退款原文：
We do not offer refunds. If there are extenuating circumstances, contact support.
支付方式原文：
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Apple pay requires a Safari browser. For additional payment options, including wire transfer, purchase orders, and ACH, please contact us.
支持 PayPal，但不含支付宝；电汇、采购订单、ACH 需联系客服开通。
五、机房
官网列出的位置原文包含 12 个：San Francisco、Richmond、NYC、Kansas City、Atlanta、Toronto、Amsterdam、London、Frankfurt、Bangalore、Singapore、Sydney。
具体某个套餐在哪些机房有货，要在创建页确认，本页未逐档核对。
六、适合谁（按配置与计费方式做客观映射）
- $4（512 MiB / 10 GiB）：适合临时测试、跑一次性任务、学习 Linux；内存太小，不适合长期跑数据库站点。
- $6（1 GiB / 25 GiB）：适合单个轻量站点或小服务，是「长期开着不心疼」的档位。
- $12（2 GiB / 50 GiB）：单站 WordPress 的常见起点；内存翻倍后能同时跑缓存与数据库。
- $18 以上：按核数和内存往上选；$18 起就是 2 vCPU，适合多容器或并发稍高的服务。
- 按秒计费更适合：需要短时间跑任务、随时销毁重建的工作流；不适合需要长期稳定 IP 与固定配置的场景除外。
七、本次未核项
- Premium Intel / Premium AMD 与 Regular 的具体价差；
- Memory-Optimized、CPU-Optimized、Storage-Optimized 各类的价格；
- v5 Droplets 的完整价目；
- 快照（Snapshot）单价与保留规则；

一句话总结
Basic Droplets 从 $4（512 MiB / 10 GiB / 500 GiB）到 $96（16 GiB / 8 vCPU），中间没有 $8 档；$6 换 1 GiB 内存，$12 换 2 GiB 内存，从 $18 起才是 2 核。2026-01-01 起按秒计费（最低 60 秒或 $0.01），固定套餐有月封顶，备份另加 20% 或 30%。
